Last year I was admitted to the Stanage Ward of the Netheredge hospital with depression. I did not enjoy my time here, and the best thing about my experience was when I was discharged. I felt that the Doctors and nurses did not listen to me, and they seemed to spend more time talking and discussing problems with some of the other patients than with me. I have low self-esteem, which they made worse by making me feel as though I was a second-class citizen and that I was wasting their time.
