"Nobody wants to go to hospital but if you must..."

What I liked

I was very worried about the operation that I was about to receive but on arriving at admissions I was treated with respect and all the staff seemed very confident going about their tasks, the air of calmness and confidence eased my worries considerably.

Long wait from 07.30am until the evening for my procedure but someone before me may have been having complications causing a delay, this possibly being the case you could hardly moan about it.

What could be improved

As I commented, could have done without the long wait before surgery but accept that this is at times unavoidable.

Anything else?

From the consultant, the two great vascular nurses, staff of the HDU and all of the staff on Rayne ward A304 a massive thanks, I feel I am still here thanks to their combined efforts.
