What I liked

If you are a Barnsley resident and have to use the terrible, Early Pregnancy Unit please dont!! Go elsewhere!! Non chalont attitude to a possible loss and previous losses. Red tape galore and has no emotion or empathy/sympathy to your heartache. I have spoke to everybody from Health Care assistant to Ward Sister. Disgusting treatment.

What could be improved

All the staff should treat each woman as an individual and try and show some sympathy and understanding. Infact it would be improved greatly if "civilian" woman who have suffered losses ran the unit but given some training. These woman who call themselves health workers do not care less. God forbid it happens to any of them.

Anything else?

I am writing an offical complaint to the hospitals Chef Exc. Do not use this service if you expect the unit to actually care that you are loosing a baby or have had previous losses. All I have stated is my own opinion as I have had 2 years worths of dealing intermittantly with the EPU. Go elsewhere if you can.
