What I liked

Was admitted for gallbladder removal surgery and was very satisfied with my care. This was my first ever operation so I was a little anxious but the staff were attentive and looked after me extremely well during my short stay.

What could be improved

A little more prior notice of my op would have been welcomed (I had 3 days).

Thank you for your comments, I am pleased to read about your experience with us and trust that you are recovering well from your surgery. With any surgery, we will endeavour to give patients as much notice as possible but at certain times, surgery times become available at short notice due to cancellations etc. so we do try to offer these slots to patients so they do not go to waste, although we do acknowledge that this can leave little time for patients to make neccessary arrangements.
