What I liked

The 2.30 maternity tour on Saturday 21st July was a complete waste of time. The midwife conducting the tour had no interest in talking to the visitors, spoke incredibly quietly to those at the front of the group only. Whilst we repeatedly said that we couldn't hear her it made no difference to her behaviour. No information given re access the hospital during the night and before you knew it you were on the were on the way out. Very disappointing.

What could be improved

volume, size of group, information given.

We are currently reviewing the way that our tours are managed and are investigating the possibility of an electronic tour as used in some units.
