Response from University Hospital Of North Durham

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent visit to University Hospital North Durham in July 2012.

I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience on this occasion. Whilst we recognise the decision to turn our site into a smoke free site was not a popular decision, it was felt that as a health organisation it was the right decision to make and all Trust employees are asked to remind patients and visitors that they should not smoke whilst in our grounds.

We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you. If you feel this would be useful please contact the Trust’s Patient Experience Team on 0800 7835774. If you would prefer to contact us by e-mail, our address is complaints@cddft.nhs.uk
