What I liked

All staff were encouraging, enthusiastic and highly efficient for the duration of my stay, I was treated with respect and answered with honesty when raising questions about my condition and what the plans were for my treatment. The comfort it gives you knowing that you are being regularly updated and accurately informed cannot be underestimated. The facilities and setup of the parts of the hospital I experienced were excellent but would be nothing without the wonderful staff there helping to make a traumatic and worrying visit into something much more comfortable.

Dear Anonymous – I am please that you found that the positive attitude of the staff was a great help to you. Good care and a clear patient pathway is important to all staff at North Bristol Trust and so we really appreciate it when some one takes the time and trouble to post their positive, as well as any negative, experiences on NHS Choices. It is also rewarding to know the facilities were excellent as a lot of work is being undertaken to ensure they remain so ahead of the move to the new hospital in 2014.
