I recently attended day care and then ward D8 at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham for a hernia operation. I was happy with all aspects of my treatment, but the layout of the hospital seems flawed - why oh why is the dispersal suite on floor D? It is so far away from the vehicle access, so the staff waste a lot of time having to walk so far to pick up patients.
