What I liked
In my check-up appointment, I was seen to quickly, I was talked through procedures in detail and asked what I wanted
What could be improved
I was sent an appointment (10th or 11th of July if I recall) which was a few days before a holiday, so rang to cancel it. I was told that was fine and they could fit me in the same time on August 13th. They even said they don't usually do surgery like this on a Monday, but they just so happen to be this time. I said it was fine, because I work Thurs to Sat and there's a good chance that (after wisdom teeth extraction) that there would be less pain and swelling by the time I go back to work. I then got a phone call today (11th of July) asking if I still want my appointment because I didn't ring up to confirm because it's this Friday. I said I definitely would not have agreed to that because I would be on holiday OR at work and they told me they definitely said the right date and I must be wrong. They also told me that now I've cancelled 2 appointments so I must go back to my dentist and ask for another referral to the hospital, when it took me about 6 months in the first place to get the appointment at the hospital after my referral. I am in desperate need of my teeth out and I'm sick of being messed around.
Anything else?
This process for wisdom teeth removal is far too slow! It was about a year ago that I was told by my dentist that I need them out and the end is still not in sight.
