What I liked

I had a skin graft operation on my leg today and reported to the Outpatient Day Surgery Unit early this morning. From this moment onwards I cannot speak highly enough of every member of staff that took care of me from the receptionist, various nurses, (one especially, took care of me when I woke up and went that extra mile for me! which I really appreciated). Also the more senior staff in surgery (Plastics) who took the time to explain every detail before surgery and also had a great sense of humour that made me laugh and helped ease any concerns that I had. Even with the financial constraints and additional pressures that are being forced on the NHS, its reassuring to know that there are still hospitals with well trained, professional, caring staff that go the extra mile for their patient no matter who they are. In my opinion, based on my experience today, QVH is a fantastic Hospital, that deserves the highest recognition for the service it provides. Thankyou from a satisfied patient

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing other than a government wage increase to all NHS staff in recognition of there hard work . ( But we know this won't be happening any day soon!). The service provided was first class!!! and I don't give compliments unless they are deserved.
