About: Bedford Hospital South Wing

What I liked

On June 1st I was referred to South Wing by my excellent GP. By the 22nd of this month I had received over 3 visits, an ECG, the treadmill, an echocardiagraph, an angiagram and a further angiagram, and finally been referred to Papworth for further investigations.

Throughout, both the consultants; nurses and reception staff on both floors were kind, attentive, and informative at all times. I did remark that I have rarely experienced watching a team work with such harmony. Even when I entered the hospital and looked at the detailed direction board, a non medical lady asked me where I wanted to go, they even walked me round to the lift leading to the floors I wanted.

I may be 68 years old but I am not, and did not show any signs of disability, they were just being kind. Why oh why did we have to listen to that enormous bill go through parliament to change what to me, does not need changing?

Thank yo to everyone.

Ken Thomas

I have passed your compliments onto the Cardiology team, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback.

I am unable to trace who helped you with the directions at the noticeboard, but will put this on our staff bulletin in the hope that the staff member who helped you sees it.
