Friendly hospital.

What could be improved

My appointment was for 1045, but was not seen until 1145. At one point we were told that this delay was going to happen, but I think this should have been repeated at intervals so that subsequent patients would be aware.

During my wait, I counted 35 notices on walls from where I was sitting: too many seemed to have been there for a long time. Looked untidy.

We always endeavour to see our patients in a timely manner and to minimise any delays, but as I am sure you will appreciate, it is not easy to predict how soon each individual patient is seen.

We also note your comment about the number and tidiness of notices on the walls and we will pass your comment on to the department to review these.

We place great value in the fact that local people continue to choose our hospitals and we openly encourage patients and visitors to give us their feedback. This will enable us to continually improve the services we offer and the experience our patients have whilst in our hospitals.
