"Fed up of being in hospital"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital / Inpatient beds

(as the patient),

In April of this year I was in Twyford Ward for 5 weeks. They treat me alright up to a point but I object to being here. I have requested alternative accomodation, but I am not getting any results at all.

Staff are very helpful but I can't go to town to collect my pension, there's no one to come with me and they say I can't go alone. I'm stuck here and feeling frustrated.

There doesn't seem to be any coordination and I really feel that I'm getting nowhere - I don't want to be in hospital forever and I'm not being told anything. I'm really fed up with the whole thing.

I have the number for shopmobility services, who helped me when I was back at home. They used to arrange for me to be taken into town with support to fetch my pension. I'm so frustrated not being allowed out now, I can't spend the rest of my days cooped up in hospital, sat in a chair and not seeing any of the world.
