"Always excellent treatment"

I have recently had an operation on my left ankle in Northampton General Hospital. I would very much like to thank Professor Ribbans and his Team, for all the care and attention that I have received, from my appointment in the pre addmission clinic to my leaving the hospital after my operation.

The staff on Cedar ward were constantly available, cheerful and helpful, the ward was clean and the food was good. The nursing assistants and porters were always cheery, polite and could always put a smile on your face.

The staff in the operating room put me at ease and told me all that was going to happen.

Prof Ribbans was waiting for me when I arrived and gave me some reassuring words, I was in very little pain after the op.

The staff in the physiotherapy dept were always first class, soon had me getting around on crutches. Finally I would like to say thankyou to the team which includes Michael and Theresa and the young trainee in the plaster room for firstly my bright pink plaster and for the lovely blue one I received on my second visit, for their care and attention and for making removing the staples from my ankle a not too painful procedure.

I have been to Northampton General Hospital on many occasions and always received excellent treatment.
