"Could not fault staff at Crawley Hospital"

About: Crawley Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I had an endoscopy investigation done at Crawley Hospital in very nice and clean premises.

The receptionist, two assistants to the specialist and Dr Cooper were professional and lovely.

I opted for the throat spray rather than the sedation. It isn't a pleasant procedure as you have a tube down your throat but if you expect it and follow what the nurse tells you to do it's bearable. In total there were 3 members of staff who made sure I was fine. It doesn't last too long - approx 4-5 minutes. The beauty of the throat spray is that you can leave the hospital straight after whereas on sedation you have to wait to recover.

I could not fault the staff or the premises, thank you very much.

I am glad to hear that your experience at Crawley Hospital was positive and you found our staff professional and helpful, despite the procedure being quite unpleasant. We will pass your comments on to Dr Cooper and our Endoscopy team.
