I was very nervous and tearful during my appointment at the Sexual Health Outpatients clinics.

I had a complaint that had been troubling me for months. It would clear up a little and then come back. I was frightened and imagining all sorts of horrors. I was embarrassed to admit I had left it for so long.

The staff were superb. They displayed professional expertise combined with human caring and concern. The doctor, nurses and clerical staff were supportive, understanding and non-judgmental. They really were excellent. I would have no concerns about attending again.

Well done all the team Gold medal all round! Thank you. A grateful patient.

We are always very pleased to get feed-back from our patients and families. All feed-back is shared with staff providing the service as well as with their managers. Positive feed-back is always encouraging for all concerned and we really are grateful for you taking the time to let us know how things went.

I am sorry that you had to struggle for months before you felt able to get some help but your anxieties and worries are natural. Hopefully by sharing your postings on Patient Opinion others will be reminded that often the biggest fear is fear itself. So gold medal to you too for having the courage to make your appointment, go along and then feed-back. Thank you.
