I took my 4 month old son in to A&E with a high temperature and breathing problems.
It took the 4 hours to see him, which by that time the coldness of the hospital cooled his temperature down. The doctor apologised for the wait and explained that they had to deal with all the drunk people first, which is appalling, then sent him home after just looking at him and taking his temperature and said there was nothing wrong.
6 hours later he got rushed in to hospital via ambulance with a high temperature and breathing difficulties and his arms and legs had turned dark blue/ purple. He was put on oxygen for at least 5 hours.
In my opinion the doctor in A&E put my son's life in danger by not checking him over properly. And then it took them till half past 5 to let me feed him when he hadn't been fed since half past 9 that morning. My little boy was starving.
Overall I felt the level of care and attention to detail was shockingly bad.
