I am 92% deaf and have two hearing aids supplied by the NHS, on the third week of April I called the audiology department to have them adjusted. The young lady took my name and date of birth as I cannot hear on the phone due to the conditions of my hearing aids I got a friend to phone two weeks later and he was told it would be 6 weeks before I could get an appointment. This is the second week in July and I have heard nothing.
I have had ten visits to DGRI this year for various things. I was told by the doctor at the renal unit that she would arrange for me to see the dietician. Months have passed and nothing.
When I first visited the hospital I did not need help walking. I now have elbow crutches and I walk very badly.
I feel very disappointed at my treatment so far.
