"The surgeon involved in the five brain operations undoubtedly savded my life"

About: Derriford Hospital / Neurosurgery NHS West Hertfordshire

(as the patient),

The surgeon involved in the five brain operations undoubtedly savded my life. I think his name is either Mr or Dr Felling. I am told that I was in hospital, on a life-support machine, for over two months. My daughter, who was studying for her A-Levels at the time, tells me that at one point I was unlikely to recover, and that she had the option for the machine to be turned off- not an easy thing for a teenage girl to be asked. I'm so glad that she refused the option. Since then she has gone on to recieve an MA and Bsc, and she teaches sociology (paticularly Gender Studies) at the University of Westminster, whilst simultaneously working on her Phd. I have had as much care as I can reasonably expect. my GP is Dr Ceri Jones, at the Vine House Health Centerin Abbots Langley. She is a very conscientous practioner, and has actually managed to reduce the amount of medication which I have to consume each week, by simply contacting the surgeon involved and asking for guidance. I am very grateful for all the care that I erceived.
