I was told my results would be available in 3-4 weeks. To date, no results and I have been informed that my MRI has not been looked at. I have been informed that there is a capacity issue and out-sourcing is taking place.
It is problematic because I am in pain and would like to get to the bottom of the issue. However, what is more frustrating is he sheer ambivalence of the staff when I call again to be told that nobody has reviewed my scan. Even if there is a back-log, I cannot understand why I can't be told what. realistic timescale will be for when my results are ready. I am putting off going back to see my GP until my results are back. But it would be useful to know when the back-log will be cleared and when I can expect the results. I am in limbo and the admin staff blaming the admin staff is not helpful. As there does seem to be an issue in terms of capacity, surely there should be discussions with those representing Kings Mill to help them, help the people who are waiting.
