tried today to ring phsyo dept 6 times over one and a half hours from 9.00 to 10.30 no one picked up the phone .when I spoke to switchboard they confirmed that this was normal they do not answer the phone .had to go to phsyo dept from home to actually speak to reception .all was quiet were not interested .wasn't busy just not interested in answering the phone.

We're really sorry to hear this. At busy times our receptionists may be unable to answer the phone due to the high number of patients either reporting to reception or making follow up appointments, however we can understand your frustration. The matter has been flagged up to senior staff.
