"broken rib diagnosis"

I have visited Crawley Hospital with a suspicion of a broken rib coused by a fall from a ladder, having a really strong pain in the rib area so strong i was bearly walking nurse gave me pain killers which didnt help after 5hours of waiting i was taken by a doctor. I was hoping for an xray to see how bad the ribs are...but no the doctor listened through the stethoscope commenting- oh yes its broken i will give you a strong pain killer. went out came back and gave me a bit stronger paracetamol. saying that if i start coughing come back and we will think of an xray. when going out the the room the doctor started laughing straight away. thank you for the help NHS 😉
