"My Mallet Finger Experience!!"

How lucky we are to have a great service locally in Petersfield!!

After falling, my finger looked bent and was achy and swollen. So, next morning I called our local surgery who advised attending the Minor Injuries Unit in Petersfields Hospital.

I only had to wait a few minutes and very professional and polite nurse came. She arranged an X Ray which was prompt and within a few minutes she had the results and settled me in her office.

Everything was explained which put me at my ease and she then explained the care plan and fitted a supporting splint, which I have to wear for 8 weeks.

I felt so relieved that it is treatable and I was very impressed my the young lady nurse professionalism, knowledge and clinical skills.

So, it is my pleasure to write this and thank her for her skill.
