"COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME"

About: Ealing IAPT

I would not recommend anyone to this clinic. They will make you wait over 6 months to be seen. They do not care about your problems at all. I have been waiting 8 months to receive treatment and i am still waiting. I am shocked by them. If anyone needs help for mental health, i would advise you pay privately or you go see your GP to discuss matters. This branch is a joke.

I am sorry that you have had a negative experience with Ealing IAPT. The team is are aware that the waiting times are long and they are working very hard to reduce the time it takes for clients to be seen. The wait is significantly longer if there are specific requirements in terms of when clients can attend, such as evenings. Having said that, would you mind getting in touch with Ealing IAPT directly so that they can look into this and see if there is anything they can do to make it right?

Their email address is ealing.iapt@nhs.net and one of the senior managers will get back to you right away.

Thank you for taking the time to post about the Ealing IAPT service. We are really sorry that you have had to wait such a long time to be offered treatment. The service is in very high demand at the moment and this has resulted in some long waiting times, particularly for certain treatments or specific times of day. It is a service priority to try and reduce how long everyone is waiting. For example the service is introducing some group treatments options so that more people can be seen faster.

We are also really concerned to hear that you have felt that nobody cares about you and that your time has been wasted. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to phone the service and ask to speak to a manager who can review your care and see if there are any alternative options available for you. Alternatively, if you would like to make a formal complaint about your treatment then information about how to do this is here: https://www.westlondon.nhs.uk/contact-us/complaints
