"Cancer Patient"

About: University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust

I have been going to the Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke on Trent regularly over the last 12 months for cancer treatment.

The staff are marvellous.

The only concern is the distance we have to walk from the main entrance (for bloods, ECG and Pharmacy) to the Cancer Clinic (for consultation etc).

For really ill patients, this is quite a treck! Even for fit people it is all up-hill from the Cancer Clinic to Main Entrance.

These walks cannot be avoided.

What I suggest is some kind of golf buggy of similar that can be driven by a Porter to transport people from A to B.

I have spoken to Staff, who think this may be a good & cheap solution!
