"Endoscopy"

About: Warwick Hospital

I came to the hospital for a colonoscopy procedure. I was treated with kindness and care from booking in to the end of the procedure. The staff made me feel I was important to them. The hospital is very clean and bright and accessible. The one difficulty I had was in trying to fulfil a prescription needed prior to the procedure,

I was prescribed ampoules of injectable medicine which were provided at the pharmacy, but no syringes or needles were provided by the them.

This led to a considerable delay in leaving the hospital while an extremely helpful receptionist from the endoscopy dept went to considerable lengths to help me by contacting a DVT nurse who provided the necessary equipment and instructions. Having to go backwards and forward to several departments was difficult for me as I have slight mobility problems. However overall I was very satisfied with the service provided.
