I had 1 night stay on ward 31 which was unexpected as i was in for day surgery on ward 11.The nurses worked really hard as there was numerous patients being sick.
The good work of all the nurses auxillary and domestics was let down by the person in charge of discharge papers, i waited 2 hours in a very drab room for my discharge letter i was the only patient being discharged that morning 06/09/2019 and had asked 3 times for my discharge letter and the person locked herself in the drug room, so after 2 hours i left feeling unwell and anxious with no discharge letter.
It only takes 1person not doing her job to let the whole ward down and she as done that ! and by information recieved not only to me.
