"Didn't give a toss"

I was referred to the Bridge Centre for assessment because after receiving a cancer diagnosis my long term anxiety went into overdrive. I had an assessment at short notice and then heard nothing. A month later they sent a letter basically telling me to go away for five years - until I had the cancer all clear and not to bother them again. I've had treatment and am on the five year watch but no one will help me with my anxiety condition because - well lets be blunt about this I might die before they can compile their statistics to show how successful they are.
