I just wanted to say that my experience of giving birth the second time around was so different to the first. I cant begin to say how greatful I am for my midwife, Kirsty, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. She really was so lovely and provided the most fantastic care I have recieved. From the minute I called the birth unit she was calming and even though she didn't know if I was in established labour or not she still invited me down. When arriving at 1am we didn't even get a chance to be examined as the baby was coming. Kirsty was so calm and also hilarious. Just calmly delivered my baby at 01.19am, as if nothing had happened and I had not just arrived 20 minutes previous. I did lose a little blood after he was born and I was quite worried and she reassured me everything was fine and came with me over to have my cannula & drip put in. The NHS are very lucky to have her. Even though I have thanked her 100 times already, I just wanted to say thankyou again!
