I was a patient in the cardio thoracic unit, spending time on HDU and ward 32. I would just like to say a big thank you to you all. To my Consultant and his team, the Anaesthetist and his team, the nursing team both pre op and post op, student nurses, porters, X-ray department, physiotherapist and last but not least the domestics who made the best cups of tea and always had a cheery word to say. Most of the care I received was outstanding. I was included in all decision making re my pre and post operative cares and felt I was treated as an individual and listened to. I saw patients being treated kindly and receiving good nursing care with lots of genuine good humour and team work on both the wards. I am extremely grateful for the expertise and care that was given to me. Thank you once again.
"Thank you"
