"Viral infection"

I visited the clinic on Friday morning and was efficiently processed by the kind receptionist.

I sat and waited for about fifteen minutes, and then was seen by a GP who asked relevant questions, examined me, and advised complete rest, together with continuing to take paracetamol. He said that I need to listen to my body and take a break from appointments etc. It made sense, there's no such thing as a quick fix, but I was glad of a professional assessment.

The young male doctor was sensitive and thorough, and I really hope he hasn't caught my horrible bug.
