"Antenatal unit"

About: Thomas Linacre Outpatient Centre

Every single time I've been for a scan or antenatal appointment they've always been running late so you were either seen an hour or two later than your arranged appointment. I was in today for a consultation for a c-section and had my two toddlers with me due to it supposedly being only a 5 minute appointment, waited two hours, was in the middle of leaving due to how long it was taking and the kids being upset to be stopped and told I'll be seen now, then I was barely spoken to about my planned section, all I was asked to do was the regular urine sample and a swab, then was asked to sign a consent form and told when my section is planned for, when I tried saying the date wouldn't work I was ignored and sent home.

I am sorry to read about your poor experience of our antenatal services, however thank you for your feedback. I will ensure your comments are shared with the Governance Team.

Kind Regards
