"Waste of my time"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

In 15 August 2019 I visited ENT dept. and a lump in my neck was examined by a very nice Doctor. He told me to make another ENT appt after getting CT scan and ultrasound appt. Appts were made for Weds 4 Sept.

ENT dept made an appt. for me on Thurs 5 Sept saying that the results from scans would be back by then.I attended appts on 4 Sept. - after ultrasound I was told my neck was clear. After CT scan I was not told anything. On 5 Sept. I attended ENT - after 35 minute wait I saw a different Dr who said my ultrasound was ok - which I knew already BUT CT result was not available!!!!!! Was with him less than 5 mins. Having come all the way from Lee-on-Solent by bus to attend this appt I am very angry that my whole day was wasted. Dr says another appt would be made in a week. I feel that if my results are clear I could be told by phone rather than having to spend another day visiting QA just to be told results are clear. At present not sure I'll bother attending future appt.
