About: Epsom Hospital

Visited the hospital for appointment at a chest / breathing clinic, didnt bring appointment letter. Entered the hospital at the main entrance and obviously looked lost. Passing staff stopped, asked if I needed help and then directed me to a clinic. When i went there it wasnt the right clinic but the member of staff there telephoned a colleague, found where I was supposed to be and gave me more directions. Staff at the clinic assisting the consultant were very welcoming and helpful. If there was one weak point it was the unexplained delay at the pharmacy to collect a prescription -45 minutes wait. All of the staff I came across deserve great credit for such positive attitudes to their work and to the patients / visitors.
