"excellent care from diagnosis to operation"

In April 2019 a large mass was seen on my right kidney which is obviously very alarming and would require the removal of the kidney, from that moment the consultants and clinical staff looked after me and supported me throughout the process and through the subsequent tests I required.Prior to the operation I met the surgeon who clearly outlined the procedure and reduced my fears.The operation itself in June was a success and aftercare in High Dependancy and then Murphy Ward was very good with very good pain relief when required, and good individual care with access to doctors when I needed them. I was soon able to get out of bed and walk about albeit slowly. I wasn't able to eat for the first few days but when I could , I found the food excellent.I felt that throughout the whole process I was treated as a person and not a statistic and would like to say thank you to the whole team for looking after me.
