"Management of Parkinson's medication at D&G royal infirmary"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a relative),

On first visit to this hospital we both felt the care wasn't great. My partner has Parkinson's, they would give him his medication wrong and not at the correct times. It is important that medication for Parkinson's is given and taken at the correct times. Then when we went to another ward they made mistakes also with his medication. But they soon corrected this and looked after him very well. My husbands hip dislocated and had to return to hospital, this time they were much improved. I think more care needed for patients who require their medication at times out with normal pill rounds.
