(as a relative),

I am here with my father who is having his after care here after a major op in Exeter on his kidneys.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are exceptional - they have treated my father with respect, warmth and compassion.

His cancer came back to his lymph nodes, we were worried about his dizziness - we managed to get a scan and blood tests done on the same day rather than having to wait. Dr Moody and Dr Sheergen are absolutely outstanding.

My father is living at home and the staff always communicate well with our family. Our GP is also involved in coordinating my father's care, and has had close contact with the hospice he spent time in. Often our GP liaises with all parties on our behalf.

We can fault no part of this service, it is exactly as you would hope.

Thank you for you kind comments, and for taking the time to post them. I'm really sorry I havent responded to you sooner.

I'm really pleased to see that you had prompt care and treatment, and that you found staff caring and friendly. I was especially pleased to see that staff went that extra mile in arranging your father's tests at the sme time, thus avoiding another visit. We do try to arrange this where we can, as we recognise that this type of service goes a long way to improving the patient's experience , and also helps to relieve the stress and anxiety they may be feeling.

I have passed your positive comments regarding Dr Moody and Dr Sheergen on to them, where I know they will be warmly recieved.

I'm glad to see you have a good communication network with all of the services your father uses, and hope your father is now recovering well, after his operation.
