"Thyroid Lump"

i am impressed with the service received by Croydon University Hospital. To start, i was referred by my GP who explained there is a very long 3 month wait time at St George's and i can be seen next weekend at Croydon Hospital. Obviously, with a lump being investigated i would rather be seen quicker than later. So i went forth with my appointment. I met with the consultant in ENT department on a Saturday after waiting less than 2 minutes to be seen. The Dr was very professional and empathetic. He explained all matters, including ongoing investigations with clarity and confidence. I walked away that day with certainty i was cared for well. Following this discussion i had been referred to have an fine needle aspiration. This appointment again, was quick. Being seen in one weeks time. The team in the xray/Ultrasound department are fantastic. Again i was put at ease and weirdly enough enjoying my experience. with the MOS remaining professional but using humour to help me feel comfortable.
