"Appointment with Doctor"

About: Limefield Surgery

Attended Doctor for appointment ( original doctor of the practice) who, when I entered never said hello or put me at ease. Had a face like thunder and quite clearly did not want to know my complaint. I am diabetic and have two other problems, and am under the hospital for two of them. I did not know if my symptoms were to do with this or not, he just said I was under review with the hospital and did not take any intrest at all. I broke down in tears because of the way this consultation was going and he could not even apologise. A couple of weeks later I received a letter to attend for my review, what rubbish, why should I attend for that when, when I needed help with a complaint I could not get it. I rang the practice manager twice, and she could not have been nicer, and said she would contact the Dr concerned, and said that she would get him to write me a letter of apology. That was in June it is nowe August and I am still waiting. My previous octor at the surgery, I cannot fault, she was very kind, took an interest and always went out of her way to do her best for you.

This surgery has gone downhill since she left, and agree with one of the other reviewers who said the surgery was more or less empty every time you go in. No wonder if this is how you are treated. The receptionists need a lesson in politeness and ways to treat people. May I just add that I worked 35 years as a Doctors receptionist/ secretary, and would have been pulled over the coals if I treated or spoke to patients the way they do. Needless to say they will be losing two more patients in the very near future.
