"Health and Justice Community Services Street..."

About: Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

Street Triage is part of a national pilot scheme which involves the police identifying a cohort of individuals who call the police repeatedly for inappropriate reasons or use the emergency services when in mental health crisis. Street Triage practitioners then work closely with the police and individuals to address their mental health needs with the aim of reducing the number of responses from the police.

I have just telephoned the Crisis line asking for some advice and to ask for the The Early Intervention Teams telephone number,

I was told sorry there not available at weekend.

My daughter is having mental health crisis and needs to be assessed.

What did the crisis line tell me to do phone the emergency services. Yes 999

unbelievable.

Health and Justice Community Services needs to inform the crisis mental health team staff about there services to. Thank you to the community team for making us wait for 4 weeks to see one of there nurses.

That why were in this situation now.
