I had a colonoscopy on 13 August after my bowel screening test was abnormal.
I was well looked after from booking in. The care and compassion was wonderful.
I was extremely nervous and the nurses and doctor made me feel completely at ease, my fears subsided as I had a pain free and easy procedure.
There was nothing to worry about at all as I did not feel the tube inside me and I was given the all clear. If I ever had to take this test again I would save myself from stress..The worse thing was drinking the liquid laxatives before going in hospital, it was worse than the procedure. Scientists need to come up with a more palatable drink..
