"Urology - Hopkins Ward"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital / Urology

First seen in the Rapid Access clinic 2 weeks ago, epididymitis diagnosed, 2 week course of antibiotics given. After 2 weeks, no improvement, went back.Further investigations done (ultrasound again), decided that I needed surgery. Scheduled for Monday, but an emergency took priority. Second attempt on Tuesday, all good. All members of staff I interacted with (from Consultant down to cleaners) were cheerful, courteous and professional. Profuse apologies for having to cancel on Monday, but these things happen, no reason to get angry (which apparently some people do). Superb care, and they are arranging follow-up to investigate why I got the condition to begin with. Top marks, super job!
