"Recovery house barnet"

My son was recently taken on by htt again due to his deteriorating mental state. after being seen by them i rang the manager who came to my home to discuss my son and his home. it was decided that he needed admission into hospital but after a week we heard no more, i rang again and was told that the only beds were in st anns hospital and that he wouldnt like it in there.

I stressed the urgency of his need but was told they were waiting for a vacancy, my son also realised the need for admission but was waiting a very long time. one evening at 6pm my son received a call saying htt were coming for him and to pack some things he was then taken to elysian house with myself following in the car i must say this place was a godsend everything was explained to us and the contact numbers all given, my son stayed 3 weeks at elysian house and improved so well he didnt even want to leave.

This service is excellent. it is often difficult to go to hospital voluntarily now as the patient seems to be prevented at every turn but the recovery house is equally effective.
