"NHS is pure shambles"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital / Maternity

Was referred by midwife for a growth scan at 39 weeks pregnant. Arrived on time, waited an hour for blood pressure reading. Then waited further hour to have 5 minute talk with GP who said scan was needed. However the scan department was shut for lunch, so she suggested we waited 45 mins till 1 o clock. We did (and ate some food at the most depressing food area I've ever seen). We returned to the scan area at 1pm, to be told no scans today, not even when urgent. When calling into try and re-arrange or book a scan, no phone lines ever pick up. This place is utterly terrible.
