I have been a patient of this surgery for many years, and have never had cause to complain about the service received, or the staff. They are all very helpful and will always try to make a convenient appointment as soon as is possible. I know there are always people complaining about never being able to make an appointment, but this is due to the high volume of patients who do not turn up to appointment, and do not have the courtesy to cancel them. There is no reason not to attend, as the surgery have a very effective text messaging service which notifies you on at least a couple of occasions that you have an appointment.

Thank you for your feedback. It is reassuring to note that the efforts of the surgery team are appreciated. The consistently high number of patients not turning up for their appointment and failing to cancel in time, an average of 90 per month at Hungerford, undoubtedly has a detrimental effect on other patients and despite our best efforts over many years we have been largely unsuccessful in persuading what is a very small but frustrating percentage of patients to change their behaviour. We will keep trying however.
