Recently my Mum went to an outpatients appointment at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Her 'experience' began with a 90 min wait! At the end of the experience she was asked by a nurse in front of a waiting room of 40 plus patients whether she would rate her experience! She was told that she was patient 10, but her response would be anonymous. She was then asked for her response and the nurse said she would write it in. Is this really confidential? I think not!
My Mum had to return to have further tests and she said that she was scared of putting a low score just in case it had further implications! So much for patient feedback.
