"Unexpected Trip to A&E"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

(as a parent/guardian),

On a visit to Ashford with my mum and child seeing some relatives my 7 year old fell off some monkey bars and banged her head.  I wouldnt have minded but we were about to start a tour of a  local safari park and had only seen one baboon til then.  She felt sick and dizzy so off we went to the local A&E.

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.  There was a lovely separate space for the kids.  We were seen really quickly and the whole process took only 40 mins.  The staff were lovely and we were given good advice and information.  We were given a leaflet and medication.  Best ever A&E experience.

One slight observation was that the questions asked of my daughter around orientation were in my view a bit inappropriate in their wording like-Who is the reigning monarch and who is the current PM.  What hospital are you in?  (200 miles from home)!!  My 7 year old struggled with these, no wonder.
