No appointments, no advance booking, slow repeat prescriptions, long waits before being called to see the doctor, very short appointment times, very scruffy dated, unkempt interior. Poorly rated in Google and NHS website with good reason. Here's why. The place needs a General Manager that is patient focused and patient orientated. You'll never see more relaxed doctors than the owners. Visit the surgery during the day and the waiting room is practically empty yet there aren't any appointments available. There may not be any doctors available either as they don't work a full week and are on holiday more than most. The work is put on the "highly trained nurses" that you will almost always get an appointment with instead of a doctor. It suppose to be a doctors surgery but the nurses are seeing most patients and the doctors are - playing guitar, drinking coffee, taking a break or on holiday. The place needs some dedicated doctors to come in and overhaul what is a very poor surgery. If your looking for a GP, do some research and find one that will be helping to serve you as best as they can - this is not the one you need.
