"Helpful staff and more gym time"

About: Forensic mental health / Low secure services

(as the patient),

All the staff on Porchester Ward are helpful concerning matters arising.

I would like more freedom to do as I please.

I would like to go to the gym in the community more than once a week.

I would like to get out and volunteer with charities in the future.

This is great that you feel that all the staff team on Porchester Ward are supportive and helpful in relation to any matters arising. It is fantastic how you are looking at your future and planning structure to your care pathway.

We as a service have links to community placements and would suggest that you discuss these with the Occupational Therapist on your ward and set goals on how best to achieve this.

It is great to hear that you are wanting to access the community gym on a more frequent basis. May I suggest that you discuss this with your named nurse, clinical team or ward manager to take this forward.

I will also pass your comments on to the Porchester Ward Team.

I have been passed your comments on from the patient opinion website - I am really happy that you feel that my staff team are supportive and helpful and will pass this on to the whole team. The staff will be pleased they are doing a great job

Please speak to the MDT team with regards to accessing the gym more frequently and doing some charity work
