"Fantastic staff and fabulous care in an..."

I am really impressed with the care I received in the Trafford General hospital. All staff here including doctors, nurses, physio, cleaners and cafeteria staff are AMASING!!! You could not find more pleasant, lovely and caring banch of people! They really go beyond and above.

The Ward 12 is very clean and very well run. I came here after a few visits in MRI hospital and the difference in the way patients are treated in both places is shocking. In both hospitals my first appointment was delayed but in Trafford I was immediately informed so I could make other arrangements and go for a coffee, while in MRI I was waiting for the appointment for 50 minutes, getting really frustrated without any acknowledgement or information. The doctor who I saw properly listened to me and than carefully studied my scans before discussing his findings and course of action with me. (You would think it would be a normal thing but it has never happened in MRI hospital, where the doctor didn't even look into my files). Here I have been properly informed what will happen next and where to go for my pre-op appointment. My surgery was scheduled within 3 weeks from my first visit! Amasing! On the day of surgery everybody including nurses, assistants, doctors and surgeons came to introduce themselves and to explain how they will proceed with the operation. All my questions and concerns were answered. I felt very reassured and comfortable. The anesteziologs were fantastic. Very friendly and caring. Surgeon and doctor were lovely! After the surgery I was admitted to Ward12. Again all the staff were amazingly friendly always using patents' names, being carrying, helpful and always smiling! The physio was wonderful. I can not find enough words to praise and to thank for a care I received!
